Overview of the most important conditions of the ICI standards

According to the following ICI standards "Coach Master Trainer, ICI" can certify:

"Fundamental Coaching Skills, ICI" = at least 60 hours/8 days + written testing

"Advanced Fundamental Coaching Skills, ICI" = "Fundamental Coaching Skills, ICI" + 5 hours Advanced Coaching

Orientation for Advanced certificates: Anyone, who books coaching in addition to his "normal" ICI certificate, to implement the contents of the respective standard can obtain an ICI certificate of the Advanced Level. The coach needs to be qualified at least as “Mastercoach, ICI”. The contents of the (Advanced) coaching need to be the application of the contents of the respective training. The coachings need to take place in substantial agreement with the “Coach Master Trainer, ICI” who certifies.

"Coach, ICI" = "NLP-Practitioner, IN" or comparable methodical training (130 hours/18 days) + 90 hours/12 days coach training + 4 x 3 case documentations + Coach conception as written test + practical test

"Advanced Coach, ICI" = "Coach, ICI" + 10 hours Advanced Coaching

"Mastercoach, ICI" = "Coach, ICI" and "NLP Master, IN" or comparable methodical training (48 days) + 45 hours/6 days Mastercoach training + 20 hours case documentations + 10 hours supervision thereto + Mastercoach conception as written test

"Advanced Mastercoach, ICI" = "Mastercoach, ICI" + 10 hours Advanced Coaching

Special qualifications, e.g.: „Health Coach, ICI“, „Business Coach, ICI“, „Sport Coach, ICI“, „Systemic Master Coach, ICI“, ...

1. proof of the application of the contents of Coaching basic qualification in the special field (Business, sport, health, ...) through thoroughly reflected protocols of the application of different basic standard interventions, with at least 4 clients, in a minimum of 3 sessions with each client - every intervention needs to be documented and reflected separately, e.g. with the focus on the amount of self attention, self learn processes and the evaluation of the hole processor comparable achievements

2. accompanying coaching sessions under the guidance of the "Coach Master Trainer, ICI" who seals the certificate

If a "Coach Master Trainer, ICI" seals special qualifications, he is to provide thorough information to the ICI, in the intern password secured discussion forum, on his exact way of proceeding and his experience. 

The ICI appoints:

"Coach Master Trainer, ICI"

Mastercoach and NLP-Trainer or comparable methodical training (72 days)

Assistance in Coach and Mastercoach or comparable competence

30 hours coaching/supervision regarding the Coach Master Trainer development

150 hours reflected training experience

Cooperation with a experienced Member Institute of ICI during the first 7 trainings

"Experienced Coaching Institute"

After the first 7 coach standard trainings

General orientation for certification:

Rule 1

A certification training with an ICI graduation can be offered and conducted only by trainers who are approved by the ICI.
Every training has to be conducted by a "Coach Master Trainer, ICI", who is responsible for the training and supervises the written and oral tests. This also applies to cooperation with other seminar providers.

    
Rule 2

The above-mentioned certification training has to be conducted, at least 80% of the time, by an approved "Coach Master Trainer, ICI". The remaining 20% of the training can be conducted under the supervision and responsibility of the approved "Coach Master Trainer, ICI". It depends on the responsible trainer whether  the presence of the trainer is necessary during the training or if a systematic preparation and wrap-up is sufficient.

   
Rule 3

To emit ICI certificates, the ICI approved trainer has to conduct the training for at least 20% of the time. The other 60% of the training can be conducted by another trainer from the organization, if that trainer has been accepted by the heads of the ICI. To make things easier some organizations or trainers can be generally declared as accepted (z.B. IANLP, DVNLP, INLPTA, APROCEP, Tom Best, Robert Dilts). The remaining 20% of the time are handled as mentioned in rule 2.
